Dead Island

I think my Playstation Plus account saved me from wanting to rip apart my game. I tried to do something stupid and ended up getting in a loop where I had to get back to my car but the problem is the car was way to far away so it's impossible to run back to it before the time ran out. I believe if I download my save from last night then I'll just have to replay through everything I did today. Which would suck but at least I wont' have to start from the beginning .

I also got the chance to play FE3R. It's an ok game so far. Nothing WOW, which is what I figured it would be like. I'll probably play it a bit more and then shelve it.

Mass Effect 3

I finished Mass Effect 3 for the PS3 today and I was very unsatisfied. While I thought the story was really well down, Bioware really knows how to you put into the game world. My problem was with the glitches. Granted the ending was very underwhelming but my problems with the game started way before I even saw it. Along the way there were tons of graphics problem. Everything from frame rate to textures. These were the kinds of the issues i would expect a new company to have. Not someone has established as Bioware.

The next problem that I had was freezing. Most of the game went perfect, then suddenly my game would freeze. It didn't matter what I was doing, if it wanted to freeze it would. This really took all the fun out of the game and replaced it with frustration. Somehow I got lucky and the game didn't freeze for the last four hours of game play so I could at least finish it. Later i tried to get into a couple multiplayer matches and both froze probably 10 minutes in.

For me that was the game killer. The game is now unplayable to me. Every time the game freezes I have to do a hard reset and I do not find that acceptable. I do not know what kind of damage this could cause. Especially now that I'm finding out people are saying their achievements are gone. To me it's just not worth playing anymore.

When I scaned through Bioware's forum it's looks like this problem started around 4-5 days ago and it's now starting to spread. I guess they are paying more attention to people flaming the staff then posting real problems. The sad thing is tech support won't acknowledge this is going on. When i contacted them to complain they said the game disc is bad or my ps3 is bad so i should send it in.

I told the guy that there are many people complaining about freezing games and he wouldn't even give the courtesy of acknowledging that was going on. I was told I had a unique situation and someone would email me the next day. Well it's been 24 hours and still no email. I really didn't expect them to send me anything, after all they already have my money.

Well at least I can have the final say in that no EA I will not buy your DLC for ME3. No EA even if and when you patch this I will not buy weapon upgrades. Going forward Bioware I refuse to buy any of your games until I see a GOTY edition and people are reporting there is a no problems. You know scratch that. Since Bioware feels that I'm not "entitled" to a working game that I paid new full price, I feel they are not "entitled" to my money. I'll just buy a used GOTY copy and keep it off line.

ME2

I'm enjoying the story for ME2 but the game is driving me bonkers at the same time. In a way I'm not looking forward to playing ME3 to experience the same level of pains hat i'm feeling now.
